Harding & Hill partner Elwood “Woody” Harding Jr. graduated summa cum laude from Bloomsburg University in 1974. He graduated from Villanova School of Law with special recognition as a member of the legal honor society, Order of the Coif, and for his outstanding article published in the Villanova Law Review.

After a year-and-a-half of specialized training in estate and trust administration in the trust department of a local bank, he began his private law practice in 1975.

In 1976, Woody joined the Bloomsburg firm of Smith, Eves and Keller. From 1977 until 1988, while maintaining his private law practice, he served first as Assistant District Attorney and then as District Attorney for Columbia County, Pennsylvania. Since 1988, Woody has devoted his time exclusively to his private law practice in Bloomsburg. Over the past thirty plus years he has had broad-based experience as a general practitioner. Woody’s current focus is on estate planning and administration, elder law, contract preparation and business and real estate transactions. He is also a licensed agent for both Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company and Lawyers Land Title Insurance Company.

Woody is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Columbia-Montour Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
